MMWUC for June 9, 2008

One hundred and fifteen days...

It's hot, sticky, icky, muggy outside. Find the a/c and fire up your computer. Stick your protagonist outside in the broiler and write about him/her.

Okay, weak, but I'm suffering from chocolate milk withdrawal.

Scrog the A/C. If you want realism, you have to feel at least some of the protag's pain. Take the laptop outside with a big bottle of water & a lawn chair, find a shady spot to minimize the glare, and sweat! Your characters will appreciate the gesture and reward you with juicy details.
